Mudovkas Bog is a low bog south-eastwards from Pasiene, in the Zilupes valley.

Area: 634 ha.

The average depth of the peat layer is 2.2 m; the deepest layer is at 6 m.

Total deposit of peat: 13,9 mil. m3.

Peat is medium and well decayed; under the peat there sapropel. Along the western part there is the Zilupe River. Open ditches dried 314 ha; the drainage system dried 16 ha. The drained area is used for pasture. The untouched part of the bog is overgrown with bushes or open.
