Kivdalovas Lake
Kivdalovas Lake is located on the Latgale upland, in Pureņi parish of Ludza municipality, westwards from Ņukši village. Big Kivdalovas Lake and Small Kivdalovas Lake are located at 2 km distance from each other.
Big and Small Kivdalovas Lakes are eutrophic, sludgy, but in the deepest Big Kivdalovas Lake (average depth is more than 3 metres), the level of eutrophication is insignificant, its shores are high and have many coves. The bottom is sandy with cobbles. Shores of Big and Small Kivdalovas Lakes are low, marshy and overgrown with bushes. The lakes collect waters from 72 km2 large basin. The Kivdolica River flows through the lake. The surroundings are inhabited. Between the lakes, there is a road.
