Lauderu Lake (Ļaudaru Lake) is situated on the edge of the Latgale upland, in Lauderi parish of Zilupe municipality; it is 139.3 m above sea level.

It is an extended lake with many coves. In the widest part, there are 2 islands. The shores are sloping, 3-8 metre high. It is a running-water lake: in the southern part there is a tributary from Liepnieku Lake and there is a flow to the Istras River. In 1960s the level of water reduced in 1 metre. It is a eutrophic lake. There are fields and roads around it.

Area: 55.3 ha, area with islands 56.1 ha

Length: 2.0 km, max. width: 0.5 km.

Average depth: 2.1 m, max. depth: 6.5 m.

Basin: 36.0 km2 (it belongs to the basin of the Velikaya River)
